I have been busy with row F and have now added it to the other 5 rows. Here are the blocks (some look 'overcooked' but it is the camera, not poor ironing skills!!!)

June block - Rising Sun

Have only managed one this month - it's been a busy one!  This is E-5 Rising Sun.

Unfortunately I ran out of fabric so had to piece the centre circle!

Some more progress

Not sure when I'll be able to post again, as the moving van is loaded Thursday, Friday is last-of-the-painting and cleaning day, and Saturday we start rolling cross-country in a 4-car caravan behind the truck. Once we're there, I'll be hectically unloading into an interim apartment and storage units, and who knows when I'll be able to stitch and sit at the computer again!!

I have just joined the janiacs.  This is my first two rows of Dear Jane done.  I have the third row almost done.  I also have others blocks done too.  Slow but sure the blocks are getting done.

Thank you so much for not kicking me off the group! We've been frantically packing and rejuvenating the house to get it on the market pursuant to our move from Florida to Colorado. I hadn't touched my machine for at least 6 weeks when I sat down this morning, determined to do *SOMETHING* I could tick off for progress. An easy Baby Jane was exactly what I needed!

The real camera is who-knows-where right now, the iron went all defiant and refuses to heat up, and apparently my hubby put all my cutting mats in the storage unit (gotta go pull the little one back out). So I have a pretty sorry pic to post this month, but here it is:

Four F's for the start of winter!!

As it is now officially winter here I have been spending a bit of time sewing and here is this weekend's result. I have also started an Around The World Bee on Flickr with a friend in New Zealand.
