Sometimes Brenda's drafts do not match the photos of Jane's blocks. When that happens, I often redraft the block. Out of the 169 square blocks, I redrafted over 30 of mine. In that section, I also link to other blogs that address the variations on the blocks -- including Connie's meticulous photos of the original quilt.

Yeah, I've changed a few, too, when the drafts haven't matched the original blocks. Also when I just didn't feel like doing what seemed to be unnecessary extra piecing in areas that were one fabric.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric choice. I hear you about changing fabrics & redrafting. I have a feeling that's how 2nd & 3rd Janes come about (not for me, mind you!! LOL)---I'm one & hopefully done.
