It's not as bad as it sounds. I'd only made 4 blocks before I started to doubt that I'm capable of making a Dear Jane quilt. Still.... I'm on track now and on a roll. Here are the new blocks I made this week.....
Almost 9 of them (the green one is almost done now). I'm sticking with making them in the order they appear in the book but they might not be in the same place in the quilt at the end. Heck...I'm even confident of reaching the end now.
I'm so glad to be here posting about my progress as last week I was thinking I'd better resign my place in this group before I was given the order of the boot for non compliance. Thanks for giving me time to turn myself around.
If you want to see extra photo's there are more on my blog..... Dilly Dimple.
Hope you are all having a good week
See you soon
Josie
These are really pretty - the fabrics are lovely!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look great! In order, they're easier to keep track of but I will tell you that if you get into a mood to work on applique or a piecing only streak, skipping may be just the trick to keep things moving along. =)
ReplyDeletethey are great a whole lot better than any thing i can do
ReplyDeleteI changed my mind on my blocks and color...long after I started. I was a painful decision, but the right one. You are so wise to switch plans so early in your project.
