My February DJ Block is Done :)

Here's my A-7 block finished.  I stitched it all by hand as my take along project this month, so it was done a little at a time at a couple of guild meetings and two Doctor's office waits.  That worked well, so I'll have to prepare a couple more blocks to work on while on the go :)

Short and Sweet

I finished another DJ block this weekend!  This is B-3.  This block can be pieced, but I'm an appliquer at heart, so I appliqued mine.  I just started by piecing two Four-patch blocks and then used one to applique a circle on top of the other one.  Simple :)

Jumping In!

Hi!  I'm finally getting a chance to jump in here and show some of the blocks that I have completed.  I have twelve blocks done so far (this one is A-2), and I'm excited to be joining in and making blocks along with this group!

I'm making mine with all scrappy backgrounds.  Now I'm starting to think of a sashing color that will go well, I'm kind of on a little hunt.  I have no idea what direction I'm going to go with my sashing, but I'll know the right fabric when I see it :)
