BLOCKS FROM A-9 TO B-3

Long time no post. I've gone back to the Dear Jane blocks. Now that I have the book and with the help of Quilt That blog I begin to sew the block in sequence.

Very easy to make the blocks B1, B2 and B3. The block A-13 presents a lot of work and difficulty, I finally had a good result. Finally, I developed the four cones of block A-10 hand-applied.

Finally I found some time to do some more of my Dear Jane blocks...

Finally Something to Show

This is the first time I have been able to post some new blocks after I revealed what I started back in 2007.  I had intention of making some of my blocks last month but that didn't happen.  So I stopped all other sewing for an afternoon so I could do what I had planned, and that is to get back to working on my DJ.

I completed this block today - still not liking foundation piecing, so ended up starting again just piecing the diamonds!!!

Had the urge to buy more fabric..

Oh dear.....

As if I didnt have enough fabric already? What do I think at times?

Well I had this sitting on the shelf of my store and well it just had to go into my Dear Jane stash as the colours and tones of the fabrics are just perfect.

Its a FQ bundle of Collection For A Cause and I felt that it will suit my DJ just perfect. What I dont use in the blocks I will use in something else I am sure of it.

I havent done any more blocks this month so I will show you the ones I have done before.

Would you believe that a month has gone by already since Janiac's Unite blog started up?
