Hello to Everyone who loves to sew the Dear Jane blocks.

Hi everyone….This is a blog dedicated to all the Janiacs out there who want to support each other in getting the blocks sewn for their Dear Jane quilt. Sometimes doing it all on your own is a bit daunting and having the support of others is a great boost along.
If you would like to be a part of this blog and post your pictures of your Dear Jane blocks and talk about your progress then just leave a comment and we will email you with details and we will add you to the blog so that you can be a part of the ongoing support.
Those who are joined up will be listed on the sidebar.

The idea of this blog is to challenge ourselves in putting up a blog post once a month and with that, making a Dear Jane block.
If you join up then posting once a month is a must and if you don't post for two months you will be taken off the list and blog.
Dawn and I look forward to seeing your blocks and the ongoing encouragement from you all with each others progress.
Hugs to all…..

Yay for Janiacs! :) I've been working on mine since 2004. I'm hoping that starting next month, I'll be able to put some time into it again. I've been missing it! Though I'm not sure I can commit to posting once a month (ha! doesn't look too promising after 7 years!), I'm happy to cheer y'all on and follow you on your journeys. Maybe it will help inspire me to move a little quicker on mine. :)

I am up to the quilting stage of my Blue Dear Jane, but I have also started a Rainbow Dear Jane, 2 blocks down so far. This blog will be a great incentive for me to keep going, one block a month for the moment, and then as I finish off a couple of projects, I will be increasing my output.

Would love to join in - I've been working on mine for several years now and am determined that I want to finish it by my next birthday! I think it will be very encouraging to be able to be part of this group.

Oooh! I've had my eye on this design for a few months now, but didn't think I could get much done of it, very quickly, working on it myself ... would be great to be working alongside other crazy people wanting to make lots and lots of little blocks that go together to create this gorgeous whole! I have just ordered my pattern book and template rulers ... headed to chose some fabric ... then have to wait a week before I can get onto some more fun!

Hi girls! I have done about 20 or so blocks I think, but this might be good motivation to keep them moving along. I'm doing all mine by hand (my first fully hand-pieced project ... just like Jane!!) so I'd love to be a part of your new blog.

Oh this is just what I need to get going again! I have 16 blocks done in brights and have not touched them for at least a year. So I'd love to join in the fun and actually finish this quilt.

I would like to join this group. I've made one lapthrow of Dear Jane blocks in CW repro fabrics, started another quilt using just Patrick Lose fabrics and would like to start a third going totally scrappy.

Thank you!

I would love to join this group. I have just completed row B. I have been posting my blocks onto Flickr and also onto my blog. Great to have some company!!

I would love to join you and will be happy to contribute monthly. I am a member of a European Dear Jane Club where we try to meet monthly in the "real" world as well as communicate and encourage each other in the Yahoo group. I find that joining your blog would motivate me to post more on my own blog, too.

I have been trying to get my dear jane blocks done for several years. Hopefully this with my friend, who is on Janiac's will get me going on my blocks. I have two rows done and several other blocks done. Not many triangles done yet. Hope to get going on my blocks, though I do get a lot of other things done.
